it was the second day of our summer holiday. i felt good. i felt i am free. i had a lot of time to do things i like. my parents are in zhongshan. so i live alone but i don’t feel lonely. but i didn’t do something special. i stayed at home and watched tv. oh! i wrote an english diary. it was my homework. today, i have slept for 14 hours. i thought i was very tired. it was time for dinner. i must go! i am very hungry.

as is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many other useful things. they increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and strengthen our character. in other words, they are our good teachers and wise friends. this is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.
reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of books. it is true that we can derive benefits from good books. however, bad books will do us more harm than good.
3my daily life

though my daily life is extremely monotonous, i try hard to adapt myself to it. why? because i intend to be a good student. i wish to render service to my country.
i get up at six o’clock every day. after i wash my face and brush my teeth, i begin to review my lessons. i go to school at seven o’clock.
after school is over, i return home. we usually have supper at seven o’ i begin to do my homework. i want to finish it before i go to bed.

8月7日 星期日 晴三个锤子：我们家有三个锤子，大锤子爱护家，灯坏了，他就去修，米没了，他就去买，他每天都给花浇水，让花儿美丽的开放，他就是爸爸。第二个锤子，在家里打扫卫生，炒菜烧饭，她就是妈妈。第三个锤子，喜欢把家当成玩具，在家里蹦蹦跳跳，跑来跑去，那就是我。
8月15日 星期一 晴我有一个朋友，她的名字叫文文，她长得胖胖的'，头发短短的，眼睛亮亮大大的，嘴巴小小，脑袋圆圆的，裙子漂漂亮亮的。
8月17日 星期三 多云投稿：老师叫我把写得好的两篇日记投出去，我们先在家里把日记打下来，再去打印出来，我们把打印好的日记带到邮局买了两个信封，两张邮票，把日记放进信封里，贴好邮票，写好地址，放到邮箱里就完成了。
8月20日 星期六 晴 我终于有了一张我自己的小床，它跟一般的床可不一样哦，它有两层，下面一层是做作业的，上面一层是睡觉的，还有橱柜，可以放书，挂衣服。旁边有个梯子，睡觉要爬梯子上去。
它的颜色很好看，是木头本来的色彩。它身上有好多疤，都是天然的。
8月28日 星期日 晴常州恐龙圆；今天，我和妈妈一起去常州恐龙圆玩，我们先到博物馆去参观，然后坐小船去侏罗纪，那里面好恐怖好可怕，最后从一个很高的地方滑下去，很刺激。后来，我们又去看了立体电影，开了玩具车，我还在像一个树根的房子里买了一个恐龙吉祥物。
