Today, I am very happy to stand here to talk about the topic, “resist temptation and study hard”.

In recent years, more and more students cannot emphasize on their studies, because too much things are so attractive to them. With the popularity of internet, most of students spend some time playing online games like dota, World of Warcraft and so on. It will certainly distract them from their studies to a certain degree. If most of their time is spent on playing games, these students will fall behind in their claso that they possibly get bad grades all the time. What the worst situation is to drop out.

Of course, love is also a major attraction for youngsters. There is no denying that love is normal, but it could affect their mood to learn knowledge from their teachers. If they are in love, most of their time and money would be cost to keep love. However, if apart, they would be very sad so that they could not study well, therefore, they need to adjust their mood in the long period of time.

As for overseas students， there may be more traps and temptation laying ahead. We all know that overseas students go abroad to learn knowledge in order to find a better job and live a better life in the future. In foreign countries, lots of entertainments are very popular and interesting. If they are curious and outgoing, they have to bring the alarming problem under control. If not, they will addict to the unreal world. So, study abroad will carry more demerits than merits.

At last but not least, students must enter the society after graduation. Even though some job opportunities they don’t want to get due to low salary and subordinate positions, they will have to work here. Compared with their friends ‘situation, their friends might earn some money to buy lots of good clothes. So, they will product negative emotions, which leads to the phenomenon that they spend some money on the nightclub, alcoholic drink, clothes and so forth to release their working pressure. Finally, they always want to get some good things, regardleof working hard in their companies.

From the above discussion, I think that so long as students study hard at schools and can resist temptation, they must have a good future. Of course, parents and teachers should intensify the education of how to resist temptation.

i love english,it gives me a colorful dream.i hope i can travel around the world one day. with my good english, i can make friends with many people from different contries.i can see many places of great intrests.i dream that i can go to london,because it is the birth place of english.

i also want to use my good english to introduce our great places to the english spoken people,i hope that they can love our country like us.

i know, rome was not built in a day.i believe that after continuous hard study, one day i can speak english very well.

argument on learning english

as we all know the english language more and more important in our daily study and life。why?because more and more people in the world speak english,because it is one of the five working language in the united national,and because it is used as the world language in the modern world。

i remember when i was seven years old,i wanted to speak english very much.。one day,a sister taught me an english sentence--good morning, that day,i said only one sentence to the people i met ,"good morning,teacher."they all laughed. i was too young. i didn't know the meaning of this sentence.。but i also felt very proud of it ,because i could speak a little english. after i became a student in grade one in no.2 middle school , i learned many words and i could say many sentences. little by little,i found english is a very useful subject , because i could enjoy some easy english cartoon movies . i could trad english short stories and novels . i could also talk with my foreign teachers in english.

now i know , if i want to study english well , textbooks are not enough for me , because the world is full of new information。reading more out of class becomes so necessary. however , the most important thing is to speak english as much as i can.。just as my english teacher , miss zhang ,always says,"we learn english to communicate , to get closer to the world."
